Tom Bean had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Tioga Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Tomcats have won by exactly ten runs.

Keaton Reed made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Cash Linder was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Hagen Darney was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Tom Bean was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Tom Bean pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Tioga, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-1 record this season.

Tom Bean will face off against Savoy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tomcats are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Tioga, they will be playing at home against Honey Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
