While it was all tied up 13-13 at halftime, the Richland Colts were not quite the Lisbon Broncos's equal in the second half on Thursday. Richland took a 35-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lisbon. Richland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lisbon can attribute much of their success to Kyra Haecherl, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Tarynn Gilbert was another key contributor, scoring 2 points.
Richland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lisbon, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Richland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dakota Prairie at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th. As for Lisbon, they will head out on the road to face off against Sargent County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sargent County and Lisbon are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
