Monroe extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Kie'Aundria Acree. The Golden Tornadoes took down the Jenkins Warriors 60-43 on Monday for which the team can thank Acree, who dropped a double-double with 36 points and 15 rebounds. Her big performance that evening made it 40 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Maleyah Hines, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 17 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Jenkins, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-4.

Monroe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-54 loss against Norcross on the 30th. As for Jenkins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 65-48 victory against Baldwin on the 30th.
