The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers will head out on the road to  take on  the Episcopal Maroon at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Georgetown Day is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes  on Tuesday. Georgetown Day blew past St. Stephen's & St. Agnes 18-7. The result was nothing new for Georgetown Day, who have now won three games by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
  Roam Reddington was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.  Joy Edwards was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Episcopal never let their opponents score last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Foxcroft as Episcopal made off with  a  17-0 victory.
 Georgetown Day now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Episcopal,  the  win also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Georgetown Day might still be hurting after the  24-14 loss they got from Episcopal  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Can Georgetown Day avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
