They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 55-28 victory over Miami Beach. This was payback for Goleman, who suffered a 38-20 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Goleman to victory were Jasmin Brown and Akayla Edwards. Brown scored 18 points, while Edwards scored 20 points along with 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Edwards has scored at least 25% of Goleman's points. Ronyde Ponthieux was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Goleman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Miami Beach, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Goleman will head out on the road to face off against Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Miami Beach, they will be playing at home against Central at 3:30 p.m. on December 13th.
