Softball Recap: Eisenhower Wins Going Away Against Dodge City

Eisenhower got themselves on the board against Dodge City on Thursday, but Dodge City never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Demons. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won four in a row.

Breckin Reicks made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Reicks was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylie Hahn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Emilee George was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Eisenhower always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dodge City only posted an OBP of .267.

Eisenhower now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Dodge City, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
