The Discovery Titans''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-0 to North Gwinnett, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Discovery in their matchups with North Gwinnett: they've now lost six in a row.
North Gwinnett's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayden Suggs led the charge by rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Ryan Hall, who threw for 148 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes.
Discovery's defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. As for North Gwinnett, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Discovery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Gwinnett will be playing in front of their home fans against Norcross at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Norcross will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
