It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Mandarin Mustangs had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 70-46 margin over the Saints. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-17.
Despite the loss, Sandalwood still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Suero, who scored 12 points.
Mandarin has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Sandalwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
Mandarin will face off against Tocoi Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tocoi Creek will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Mandarin surely won't give up without a fight. Sandalwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
