Unioto is 9-1 against Westfall since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Unioto Shermans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Westfall Mustangs at 7:15  p.m. Unioto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,170 points over their last 17 matches.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Unioto gave their fans yet another huge  win on Saturday. They blew past Piketon, posting a  57-17 win on the road. Given Unioto's advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings  (they are ranked 55th, while Piketon is ranked 430th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Unioto can attribute much of their success to   Milee Smith, who  scored 20 points along with four  steals, and   Mya Hamilton, who  scored 24 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. Hamilton is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's  played.  Amaris Betts was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with six  assists and six  steals.
 Meanwhile, Westfall's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their ninth straight loss. They fell  45-36 to Liberty Union.
 Unioto's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Westfall, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost ten of their last 11 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
 Everything came up roses for Unioto against Westfall in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023 as the  team secured a  72-37 victory. Will Unioto repeat their success,  or does  Westfall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
