The Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beachwood Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuyahoga Heights will be strutting in after a victory while Beachwood will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, it was close, but Cuyahoga Heights sidestepped Cornerstone Christian for a 51-48 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cuyahoga Heights.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Beachwood had to settle for a 36-34 loss against Bedford on Friday. Beachwood has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Beachwood had strong showings from Goldi Aschkenasy, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Lexi Jaffe, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Aschkenasy scored a full 50% of Beachwood's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Their wins bumped Cuyahoga Heights to 2-0 and Cornerstone Christian to 1-2.
