Sullivan had won two straight games and Tegan McRill did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Redskins came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-48 W against the Robinson Maroons thanks in part to McRill, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. He has become a key player for Sullivan: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least 20 points, but 3-4 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Drayden Watkins, who posted seven points along with seven boards and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Robinson had strong showings from Jetson Hoalt, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to seven assists and four steals, and Isaac Hardiman, who scored 13 points.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Sullivan has already played their next contest, a 49-44 loss against Dieterich on the 29th. As for Robinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-50 win against Red Hill on the 29th.
