The Chilton Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Mishicot Indians at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Thursday, Chilton narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past New Holstein 5-4.

Lauren Roehrig made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Mya Grenzer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Mishicot was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They blew past Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 17-3. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.
Mishicot got a massive performance out of Karsyn Krause, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Krause a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaelin Adair, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Mishicot kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.
Mishicot's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Chilton, their record is now 3-0.
Chilton might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Mishicot in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
