Port Charlotte made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,074 from 4,571. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-13 victory over Gulf Coast last week.
Charlotte's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Fightin' Tarpons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brennan McGill has thrown for 781 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Dwight Reynolds has 20 catches for 352 yards. Clyde Newton leads the league in rushing with 1315 yards.
Charlotte led the league in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Lemon Bay. Newton ran for 206 yards in the win.
