Providence Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Harbour, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Harbour's first of the season.
Grace Christian Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th. They put the hurt on The Webb School with a sharp 10-2 victory. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Feet recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Audrey George made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Elaina Morgan was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Harper Wilson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Grace Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Providence Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Providence Christian Academy's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The LIONS have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Grace Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Providence Christian Academy continue to outrun the ball?
