Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Ridge). They put the hurt on the North Crowley Panthers with a sharp 19-1 victory on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Abigail Milligan tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Ryan Roberts was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Harper, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one triple.
