The biggest upset of the week belonged to Laingsburg, who took down 281st ranked Bath, 31-14.
Fowler's Napoleon Watts recorded the longest rushing play in Central Michigan this season in his game against Fulton last week. Watts ran for 77 yards on the play and finished with 82 on the day as his team beat the Pirates.
Fowler's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dustin Wirth threw for 40 and two touchdowns and Jacob Schmitt had 27 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Feldpausch chipped in 174 yards. Watts helped Fowler's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
The Wolfpack's Jake Zielinski and Shaun McKinney have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zielinski has thrown for 514 yards this season, while McKinney, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 12 catches for 351 yards. Craig Koenigsknecht's team's Tyler Koenigsknecht leads the league in rushing yards with 785.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Eagles take on Pewamo-Westphalia. Fowler has allowed 87 points this season, while the Pirates have given up 72. The Eagles allowed 19 points last week as they topped Fulton.
Laingsburg moved up to 260 from 292 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Brian Borgman's team climbed the ranks as a result of a 31-14 win over the Fighting Bees.
