The Beamer Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Rogers Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Beamer has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 76-47 win over Kentlake. Given Beamer's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Kentlake is ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Caleb Berry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Tellis, who scored 19 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Rogers was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 70-69 to Lincoln.
The win makes it two in a row for Beamer and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Rogers, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Beamer came up short against Rogers when the teams last played back in February of 2019, falling 49-45. Can Beamer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
