Freeman is a perfect 5-0 against Asotin since March of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Scotties will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Freeman will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Freeman proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 13) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Liberty. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Scotties have posted since March 31st.

Kaylee Ripke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Rilyn Ripke was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sadie Stenlund, who earned two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Asotin). They were the clear victors by an 18-9 margin over Genesee on Thursday. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th (when they won 17-7).
Georgia Schaefer was a standout: she got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kierra Nielson, who went 4-for-5 with three runs and one triple.
Asotin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Asotin's victory bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Freeman, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
Asotin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Freeman has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .476. It's a different story for Asotin, though, as they've only averaged .342. Will they be able to contain Freeman's hitters?
Freeman got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Asotin by a conclusive 18-0 score. Will the Scotties repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
