Little Village had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt Collins on Tuesday. The Little Village Phoenix put the hurt on the Collins Warriors with a sharp 70-45 win. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Barak Hudson had a dynamite game for Little Village, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave Hudson a new career-high in points. Dion Boyd Jr was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards.

Little Village's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.4 points. As for Collins, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Little Village will head out to take on Christ the King at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Collins, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wells at 4:30 p.m. on February 17th.
