The Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 87-49 victory over Holy Trinity Catholic. The win was some much needed relief for Round Rock Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Round Rock Christian Academy was led to victory by Tyson Boto and Wes Owens. Boto went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists, while Owens shot 5-for-10 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine assists. It was the first time this season that Owens posted eight or more assists. Jordan Greatting was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Round Rock Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Round Rock Christian Academy will face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
