Baseball Recap: Far Rockaway Wins Going Away Against Martin

Far Rockaway barely beat Martin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Seahorses blew past the Falcons 16-4 on Friday. Considering the Seahorses have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Far Rockaway and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Martin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Far Rockaway and Martin will both be playing Goddard Communications Arts & Tech the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Seahorses will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th.
