It was a good run, but the Palisade Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Windsor Charter Academy 60-54.
Despite the defeat, Palisade saw an underclassman step up: Hunter Howard scored 14 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The contest was Howard's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Fred Moore was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Palisade's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Windsor Charter Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palisade will take on Montezuma-Cortez at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hayden at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
