The Hightstown Rams will face off against the Franklin Warriors at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

 Noah Francisco looked comfortable as he  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Josiah Porter, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.  Peyton Atlak was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Franklin hadn't done well against Somerville recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Pioneers  8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Warriors have posted  since May 2, 2024.
  Michael Schiermeyer was  excellent,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 The  win  got Franklin back to even at 1-1. As for Hightstown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
 Hightstown took their  win against Franklin  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  10-2 score. Will the Rams repeat their success,  or do  the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
