Meanwhile, Impact Christian Academy strolled past Westside with points to spare last Thursday, taking the game 66-50. Given Impact Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Westside is ranked 597th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Impact Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Ronald Clark, who scored 15 points along with seven steals and six rebounds, and Wayne Johnson, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Clark scored 15 or more points. Christopher Jackson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Royal Palm Beach's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Impact Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
