Meanwhile, Coweta unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Will Rogers College by a score of 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Coweta has suffered yet this season.
McAlester has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Coweta, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
McAlester took a serious blow against Coweta when the teams last played back in January of 2020, falling 109-69. Can McAlester avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
