Bryce Hanover's Big Game Leads Geneva over Hill Country Christian School of Austin
 Starting off the list is Geneva's  Bryce Hanover, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hanover rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns. Those 168  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 Geneva's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-4. Hanover and Geneva will host Compass Rose Legacy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Chandler Posts Huge Game in  36-21  Win
 Another Geneva player making an appearance on this list is  Brady Chandler. He picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 This season,  Chandler  has caught 14 touchdowns while averaging 123.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he had five  receiving touchdowns.

Holy Cross Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to  Gibby Alvarado
  Gibby Alvarado's big game helped extend Holy Cross's winning streak to eight on Friday. Alvarado turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 112 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 165 yards  while completing 76.9% of his passes.
 Alvarado might have his next game, a home matchup with John Paul II, circled on his calendar. When  Alvarado last faced the Guardians  back in October of 2023, he threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes.

Daniel Perez Turns in Season-Best  Effort
  Daniel Perez's big game helped extend Holy Cross's winning streak to eight on Friday. Perez produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in November of 2023.
 On the season,  Perez  has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 37.2 rushing yards per game.

Noah Brunsvold Makes It Three for Geneva
 Another Geneva player making an appearance on this list is  Noah Brunsvold. He picked up 109 receiving yards, and also rushed for 46 yards.
 For the season,  Brunsvold  has averaged 62.7 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 12  receiving yards per game.
