Houston County had to suffer through a rough 27-0 loss at the hands of Thomas County Central. The low total for Houston County limited their streak of high-flying scores to seven in a row.

Tift County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 151st, while Houston County is ranked 23rd). As for Thomas County Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lee County at 7:30 p.m. Lee County is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
