Block Island will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Warwick Wizards at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Block Island is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Block Island was the victim of a rough 57-35 defeat at the hands of Prout.
Meanwhile, West Warwick came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 52-45 win over Paul Cuffee on Wednesday.
West Warwick can attribute much of their success to James Branch, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Branch has scored all season. Jayden Hall was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and three steals.
Block Island dropped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.2 points per game. As for West Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
