Bay has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Lutheran West Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 490th, while Lutheran West is ranked eighth).
Even though Valley Forge scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, Bay still came out on top. Bay secured a 62-57 W over Valley Forge.
Bay found their leader in underclassman Max Cockburn, who scored 26 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cockburn has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Alexy, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lutheran West unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 76-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Ignatius. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
