They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of David Emanuel Academy. Edmund Burke Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as David Emanuel Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Edmund Burke Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braydon Tindell, who scored ten points along with six steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tindell has scored all season. Mark Wasden was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Edmund Burke Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for David Emanuel Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Edmund Burke Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Glascock County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. David Emanuel Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against The Habersham School at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
