Sean O'Brien threw for 130 yards and a touchdown. Charles Grover was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards. On the ground, Paul Zolkos rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Stanton out in front who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Ethan Koczwanski was another key contributor, picking up 159 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Scituate's defeat was their fifth straight at home , which bumped their record down to 2-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.8 points per game. As for Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Scituate will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Johnston at 7:00 p.m. on November 22nd.
