Meanwhile, Lee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-8 to Northwood Temple Academy.
Jordan Wilson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Barber, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
