After two weeks on the road, Ardmore is heading back home. On Thursday they will take on Duncan at 7:30 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
Ardmore got themselves on the board against Southeast last Friday, but Southeast never followed suit. Ardmore took the matchup and then some with a 48-0 win over Southeast. The Ardmore offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Meanwhile, Duncan might be getting used to good results now that the team has seven wins in a row. They blew past El Reno 35-9. Followers of Duncan probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 7-0. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
