After flying high against the Alchesay Falcons last Tuesday, the Snowflake Lobos came back down to earth. Snowflake took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Safford. Snowflake lost against Safford in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-51 score last time.
Despite the loss, Snowflake still got an impressive performance from Asher Brewer, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Ty Boone was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Snowflake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Safford, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snowflake will take on Round Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. As for Safford, they will be playing at home against Alchesay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Alchesay focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
