The Cooper Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Maud as Cooper made off with a 78-57 win. Cooper might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five contests by 21 points or more this season.
Cooper found their leader in underclassman Jequan Brown, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. Brown continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alfred Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Cooper pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Maud, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cooper will take on Alba-Golden at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maud, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Detroit at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Detroit and Maud are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
