Meanwhile, while Banning put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Narbonne. The Pilots put the hurt on the Gauchos with a sharp 18-0 victory. The Pilots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by nine runs or more this season.
Banning also got a great performance from Lilly Devora as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Sophie Cuadra was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Kourtney Talanoa, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
San Pedro's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Banning, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 6-10.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. San Pedro hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like Banning struggles in that department as they've averaged .398. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
