After a string of five wins, the Westside Seminoles's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Veterans. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Westside still got an impressive performance from Joshua Harden, who scored 23 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Harden scored a full 37.7% of Westside's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chauncey Williams, who scored eight points.
Veterans got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristen Abner out in front who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Antonio ??tone?? scott was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Veterans, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
