Softball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Graham-Kapowsin won the last time they faced Bonney Lake and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 13-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Marley McDaniel, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Macee Matison also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Graham-Kapowsin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Graham-Kapowsin is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Bonney Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
