It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Flomaton Hurricanes can now relate to. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards on Monday. Flomaton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Michael MJ Moore was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds for Mobile Christian. Moore continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Hakeem Winston was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Flomaton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Mobile Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.
Flomaton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mobile Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Cottage Hill Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mobile Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matchups.
