The Springtown Porcupines can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 58-24 victory over North Dallas. The win was just what Springtown needed coming off of a 56-18 defeat in their prior match.
Brylynn Bazzell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Russell , who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Springtown's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for North Dallas, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Springtown will head out on the road to face off against Brownwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Brownwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Springtown in Texas (Brownwood is ranked 275th, while Springtown is ranked 756th). North Dallas will be home for the holidays to greet Castleberry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Castleberry has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
