The Tri-Valley Bears scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They strolled past Eldred with points to spare, taking the game 52-36. That 16 points margin sets a new team best for Tri-Valley this season.
Eldred's loss came despite strong showings from Trai Kaufmann and James Deyermond. Kaufmann scored 15 points along with five blocks, while Deyermond scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That was a full 41.7% of Eldred's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The victory (which was Tri-Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. As for Eldred, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Tri-Valley will square off against Chester at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Eldred won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Livingston Manor at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th.
