Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Texline). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Boys Ranch Roughriders 54-22. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Roughriders are ranked 929th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Texline, bringing their record for this year to 7-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Boys Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Texline is taking a road trip to take on Pringle-Morse at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boys Ranch, they will welcome Hartley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
