The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Foxes as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Hartsville's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kayson Dawson, who  earned 17 points plus five  steals. Dawson has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  steals the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ej Smith, who  posted 11 points plus seven  rebounds.
 Hartsville  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 23  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake City only pulled down eight.
 Meanwhile, Lamar was just a bucket shy of victory  on Friday and fell  48-47 to Kingstree. The Silver Foxes have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
