The Robinson Bulldogs came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They pulled ahead with a 65-64 photo finish over Northwest Cabarrus. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Londen Roseman, who scored 25 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Rowe, who scored 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why Northwest Cabarrus lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anderson Lee. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points. Isaac Woolfolk was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Robinson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Northwest Cabarrus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
Robinson will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Norman Charter is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Rowan is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
