Central Christian came tearing into Saturday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 79-31 victory over the Lake Ridge Academy Royals. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Central Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points over those games. As for Lake Ridge Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Coming up, Central Christian will head out to square off against Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Bristol likes a good challenge. Lake Ridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
