The Kings Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Anderson Raptors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Kings is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Anderson in Ohio (Kings is ranked 49th, while Anderson is ranked 538th).
Kings unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Anderson ended up a good deal behind Harrison on Saturday and lost 55-36. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Anderson in their matchups with Harrison: they've now lost three in a row.
Kings' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Anderson, they bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Kings against Anderson when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 67-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
