Forge Christian came out on top against Jefferson Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to Jonathan Tipton's efforts. Tipton wasn't messing around, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Tipton's strong effort led Forge Christian over Jefferson Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
