Cameron and Penney are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Cameron Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Penney Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cameron is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Cameron, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-46 loss to Odessa.
Meanwhile, Penney beat Wellington-Napoleon 59-46 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Penney.
Cameron's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Penney, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Everything went Cameron's way against Penney in their previous meeting back in January as Cameron made off with a 63-42 victory. Will Cameron repeat their success, or does Penney have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
