Pomeroy is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while DeSales is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Pomeroy Pirates will take on the DeSales Irish at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Pomeroy posted their biggest  win since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Colton 67-17 on the road. With Pomeroy ahead  36-6 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
 Pomeroy can attribute much of their success to   Oliver Severs, who  scored 18 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals, and   Kyzer Herres, who  scored 17 points along with six  steals. Another player making a difference was  Trace Roberts, who  scored ten points.
 Meanwhile, DeSales blew past Touchet, posting a  75-26 victory on the road. Given DeSales' advantage  in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings  (they are ranked 121st, while Touchet is ranked 369th), the result  on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Pomeroy's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for DeSales, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
