The Immanuel Christian Crusaders will take on the Lone Pine Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Immanuel Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Lone Pine likes a good challenge.
If Immanuel Christian beats Lone Pine with 17 runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Crusaders blew past Mammoth 17-6 on Wednesday. Considering the Crusaders have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Erin French made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Blakie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March of 2025. Jaymie Hicks was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.
Immanuel Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Lone Pine's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 13-10 to Lee Vining.
Immanuel Christian has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Lone Pine, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-3.
Everything went Immanuel Christian's way against Lone Pine in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Immanuel Christian made off with a 22-0 win. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
